Important things to know about the helmet before you buy:
-Voice changer barely functions and is low quality
-Helmet comes in 3 pieces that snap together, once assembled I would strongly recommend that you do not attempt to pull them apart as you will likely break the snap in connections.
-Helmet has poor head strap system
-Helmet is very detailed and the speaker lines on the back of this helmet are not as noticeable on the normal Black Series Stormtrooper helmet
-Helmet is great for casual costuming but would require great amounts of intense modification to meet 501st costuming group standards (you are better off getting an accurate helmet kit and starting from there if you want to join the 501st)
-You will not find a good quality Shadow Trooper helmet for cheaper, even as DIY kit.

1. Remove the adjustable head straps. I couldn't get them out intact, so I cut mine out.
2. Remove the nose cushion. I needed the space more than the cushioning, which only hurt because it was too small.
3. Remove the piece that holds the microphone in place. This frees up space for your nose to sit in the cavity left by removing it.
4. Hot-glue gunned in a couple of large circles of 1/4" foam to the inside top of the helmet, to make the helmet sit at the right height to see out of the eyes.
5. Hot-glue gunned a couple small pieces of foam where the original nose cushion was. This did the job, without taking up much space.
Now the helmet fits quite well, comfortably. Even my long eyelashes don't touch the lenses.
Regarding packaging, apparently Amazon is learning because this thing was triple boxed. It had a shipping box, which then had some inflated air sacks around another cardboard box, which contained the Hasbro picture box of the helmet itself. So, definitely an improvement there. However, that being said, there were still a handful of scratches on the helmet itself. I wasn't being too picky about having a mint product, though, so I didn't let it bother me. If this were the $200 Anovos one, I would have complained and sent it back, but for $80, it's just too friggin' cool looking not to keep. I don't normally buy Star Wars helmets that aren't actually in any movie, but this one was just too cool not to buy. Is it worth $80? I guess that depends on how bad you want one. Could I make my own for < $80? Hell no. Is this a cool looking helmet? Hell yes. That being the case, I say it's worth it.
And, yeah, like everyone else said, the microphone sucks. I can hear my breathing and blowing into it, but can't really hear what I'm saying any louder than if it didn't have one at all.

I also have the screen accurate helmet. If your going for film accuracy, this is not the helmet for you. If you want a symetrical helmet, that has detail and a slightly better microphone than the standard Stormtrooper helmet in the same line, and also is an exclusive helmet...this is the one for you.
Its a great helmet. And I would recommend this Hasbro helmet as a great entry level helmet.
Also, I have a huge melon. And this helmet fits me ok, as long as I take all the head harness material out. So be warned.
5/5
Would buy again, if only for its unique/collectible/rare features
The voice changer is crap but that's not why I wanted this. Planning to get another for myself.

Other than that, I love my helmet and I do not regret it at all.
