Too small for big heads, BUT can be easily modified to accommodate my large (size 8) cranium.
I have a large head (I wear a US size 8 fitted baseball cap), so initially I deferred buying this because I was sure it wasn't going to fit. And straight out of the box, it didn't fit as expected. HOWEVER, with a few simple modifications, I was able to get it to fit comfortably. Here's what I did:1. Remove the adjustable head straps. I couldn't get them out intact, so I cut mine out.2. Remove the nose cushion. I needed the space more than the cushioning, which only hurt because it was too small.3. Remove the piece that holds the microphone in place. This frees up space for your nose to sit in the cavity left by removing it.4. Hot-glue gunned in a couple of large circles of 1/4" foam to the inside top of the helmet, to make the helmet sit at the right height to see out of the eyes.5. Hot-glue gunned a couple small pieces of foam where the original nose cushion was. This did the job, without taking up much space. Now the helmet fits quite well, comfortably. Even my long eyelashes don't touch the lenses.Regarding packaging, apparently Amazon is learning because this thing was triple boxed. It had a shipping box, which then had some inflated air sacks around another cardboard box, which contained the Hasbro picture box of the helmet itself. So, definitely an improvement there. However, that being said, there were still a handful of scratches on the helmet itself. I wasn't being too picky about having a mint product, though, so I didn't let it bother me. If this were the $200 Anovos one, I would have complained and sent it back, but for $80, it's just too friggin' cool looking not to keep. I don't normally buy Star Wars helmets that aren't actually in any movie, but this one was just too cool not to buy. Is it worth $80? I guess that depends on how bad you want one. Could I make my own for < $80? Hell no. Is this a cool looking helmet? Hell yes. That being the case, I say it's worth it.And, yeah, like everyone else said, the microphone sucks. I can hear my breathing and blowing into it, but can't really hear what I'm saying any louder than if it didn't have one at all.

This helmet by Disney and Hasbro is a part of their black collection and it is neat and durable, well put together and the voice modulator is really a nice touch and kind of fun. The helmet comes with an adjustable fit and you can see easily out of the eye holes. This helmet is pretty cool and is perfect for your kid our 12-year-old loves his.

Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2016
Overall I really like this helmet as the shape and detailing are done very nicely and the wearer's eyes are not easily visible. There were a few details that I was not overly fond of such as the speaker lines on the back of the helmet for the voice changer, and of course the voice changer itself. If you want a nice Shadow Trooper Helmet that will not cost you upwards of $200 and do not mind the voice changer feature which does not really work, then this is the helmet for you.

Important things to know about the helmet before you buy:
-Voice changer barely functions and is low quality
-Helmet comes in 3 pieces that snap together, once assembled I would strongly recommend that you do not attempt to pull them apart as you will likely break the snap in connections.
-Helmet has poor head strap system
-Helmet is very detailed and the speaker lines on the back of this helmet are not as noticeable on the normal Black Series Stormtrooper helmet
-Helmet is great for casual costuming but would require great amounts of intense modification to meet 501st costuming group standards (you are better off getting an accurate helmet kit and starting from there if you want to join the 501st)
-You will not find a good quality Shadow Trooper helmet for cheaper, even as DIY kit.
