A:Yes. You can connect home theater 5.1 via 3.5mm Audio jack. Your all 5 speakers works, but don't aspect like DVD quality experience. You can connect home theater 2.1. It can playing well.

Q:How much hours it works continously???
A:I had seen 3 movies one by one and there is no effect on this. I consider it will works fine until ambient temperature is favorable as it gets heat up but no issue if surrounding is not high say 44 C
